Fair Play Rules

These rules apply to every manager from the moment a team is created. They sit alongside the Terms of Use, which take precedence where the two overlap. Prizes on FoxLeague are paid in real FOXSY on the MultiversX mainnet, so the platform treats the integrity of every match, challenge and tournament as its first duty.

FoxLeague is a game of skill. A manager competes with the players they own, the tactics they set and the AI binary they bring, against opponents doing the same, in matches decided by the simulation. Fair play means one person, one wallet, one team. It means playing every match to win. It means using only the interfaces, smart contracts and rules that FoxLeague publishes, in the way they are meant to be used. It means treating other managers, their teams and the community with respect.

The following conduct breaks these rules. The list gives examples, it is not a complete catalogue.

  • Multiple accounts: controlling more than one wallet or team, directly or through others, to manipulate ELO, leaderboards, leagues, tournament brackets, prize pools or promotional distributions.
  • Collusion and match fixing: arranging results with an opponent, losing on purpose, sharing or rotating prize pools, entering an event only to feed a partner and coordinating between teams in a bracket.
  • Exploits: taking advantage of a bug, a simulation quirk, a timing window, a pricing error, the relayer’s gas coverage, onboarding bonuses or any other platform mechanism in a way that was not intended.
  • Off-interface interaction: crafting, replaying or automating transactions, signatures or API calls that the FoxLeague interface does not offer. Using automation to gain an advantage over managers who play by hand falls under the same rule.
  • Abuse of others: harassment, threats, impersonation of FoxLeague or of other managers. Team names, coach names or badges that are offensive, misleading or infringe someone’s rights count as abuse too.
  • Anything prohibited by the Terms of Use, including the use of the Services from a restricted jurisdiction or by a person under 18.

If you are unsure whether something is allowed, ask the team on Telegram before you do it.

FoxLeague investigates reports from managers as well as its own monitoring. When it finds a breach of these rules or any situation that threatens the fairness, integrity, safety or solvency of the platform, FoxLeague may act at its sole discretion, with immediate effect and without prior notice. The measures include, alone or combined:

  • annulling, re-scoring or replaying matches and challenges;
  • reversing, withholding or reclaiming prizes, entry fees, XP, ELO, league placements, rankings and any bonus or promotional distribution;
  • disqualifying a team from a tournament or challenge, with or without a refund of its entry fee;
  • suspending or permanently banning wallets and every account linked to the same person;
  • cancelling, pausing, delaying or rescheduling events;
  • removing or renaming offensive team names, coach names or badges;
  • changing a rule or a parameter to close an exploit, with effect from that moment.

Transactions already settled on the MultiversX blockchain cannot be undone; measures act on platform state, on future payouts and on access to the Services. A manager who believes a measure was taken in error can contact the team with evidence. FoxLeague reviews the case and its decision after that review is final. Reports of suspected breaches are welcome and are treated in confidence.
